Pimento Lodge Resort is situated in Long Bay Portland, 30 mins drive from Port Antonio. Recently Port Antonio has benefited from the development of a new Marina.

There are several beaches between Port Antonio and Long Bay all accessible to Pimento Lodges guests.

Long Bay – sometimes calm and great for swimming other times it’s more suitable for surfing.

Boston Bay – adjacent to the famous Boston jerk centres – which are world renowned and where the annual jerk festival takes place in October every year.

Winnifred Beach – a natural cove hidden in rustic surroundings – very popular with visitors as well as the locals

San San Beach – generally very calm and quiet you go a long way out before it gets deep. ( swim, snorkel, dive)

Frenchmans Cove – a small cove where a natural freshwater spring runs beside into the sea.

St Thomas Baths – a natural hot spring mineral bath renowned for it’s curative properties is 1.5 hours drive away

Reach Fall in St Thomas and Somerset Falls in Portland – You can also enjoy two natural waterfalls in picturesque settings.

Rafting on the Rio Grande and Hiking in the Blue mountains are also available  through local tour operators

Blue lagoon – In the reality Blue Lagoon is an enchanting spot with blue deep water, a spring of fresh water and a well known restaurant where you can dine eating food served on banana leaves.

Port Antonio - It is the island’s third largest port, famous as a shipping point for  bananas and coconuts.
