Pimento Lodge Resort is uniquely situated on the hillsides of Long Bay in the parish of Portland. This unspoiled, rural Jamaican village sits at the foot of the John Crow Mountains just 30 mins drive from Port Antonio.

We are also close to several unspoilt beaches, natural waterfalls and the world renowned Boston Bay Jerk Centre.

The white sand beach of Long Bay is just a 7 minutes walk away from the hotel.  It is one of the loveliest in all of Jamaica, one mile long, lined with coconut trees providing shade.

In the village of Long Bay you find the real Jamaica, off the beaten path and away from mass tourism: lush fruit and tropical flowers grow freely and are harvested by machete, the food is fresh and very delicious and streets are safe to walk.  Long Bay is not just a tropical vacation spot, it's a cultural adventure. The area around Long Bay provides unique unspoiled natural beauty with beautiful beaches, adventurous coastlines, mystic coves, pristine rivers, picturesque waterfalls and spectacular  mountains.

Boston Bay – adjacent to the famous Boston jerk centres – which are world world renowned and where the annual jerk festival takes place in October every year.

Winnifred Beach – a natural cove hidden in rustic surroundings – very popular with visitors as well as the locals

Blue Lagoon – In the reality Blue Lagoon is an enchanting spot with blue deep water, a spring of fresh water and a well known restaurant where you can dine eating food served on banana leaves.

Frenchmans Cove – a small cove where a natural freshwater spring runs beside into the sea.

San San Beach – generally very calm and quiet you go a long way out before it gets deep. ( swim, snorkel, dive)

Port Antonio - It is the island’s third largest port, famous as a shipping point for  bananas and coconuts.
